Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Scenic Technologies team at Production Resource Group LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the scope, budget, and schedule of projects from award to delivery, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of scope of work, including budget creation, project schedule development, material sourcing, concept designs, and layout.
  • Consult with clients to resolve aesthetic design and technology issues, balancing creative needs with company budget constraints.
  • Generate quotes, interface with financial operations, and facilitate client billing.
  • Supervise on-site production, assist with venue surveys, and ensure design and quality goals are met.
  • Investigate safety and reliability concerns, communicate project status, and perform quality control of rental and sales assets.
  • Assist in bidding and pricing sales and rental, arrange shipping and transportation, and coordinate project-specific equipment flow.
  • Understand TEAM functions, read fabrication drawings, and comprehend basic construction methods for scenic builds.
  • Create material takeoffs, review Bill of Materials, and generate purchase requisitions for project materials.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scenic construction techniques.
  • Working knowledge of scenic automated solutions, ability to read and comprehend drawings, and experience in budget management.
  • Ability to lead and work well within a team, demonstrate organizational and time management skills, and communicate effectively.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination within the entertainment market or equivalent experience in shop or show site operations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required, with a concentration in business administration, hospitality management, operations management, or related entertainment technology fields.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and communicate effectively.
  • Travel may occasionally be required to on-site systems and facilities, and a valid Driver's License is required.
