Job Title: Production Planner

At Talentporte, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely procurement of necessary raw materials and coordinating work on manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and optimize daily/weekly production schedules to ensure efficient use of equipment and resources.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that all necessary requirements are met before starting a job, including preflight of customer files, plating, and raw materials.
  • Monitor daily production output and make adjustments as needed to meet customer deadlines.
  • Re-schedule work to different slots/equipment in the event of unplanned situations such as equipment failures or missing components.
  • Provide daily reports/updates to manufacturing operations to ensure materials and staffing are coordinated with forecasted workloads.
  • Maintain control over inventories, including physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and/or internal resources to ensure raw materials delivery meets scheduled run times for customer projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant administrative or operational support experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and job-specific processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills.
