Role Summary

The Client Success Assistant Manager plays a vital role within our sales leadership team, focusing on the onboarding of new staff through comprehensive product and system training, as well as assisting in the management of the sales team. Our primary objective is to ensure that our clients receive prompt responses and that our team is equipped to make informed decisions as their expertise grows.

This position is essential for guiding the team in account management, overseeing sales processes from initiation to closure, ensuring order accuracy within our systems, and addressing inventory inquiries. The role demands quick, data-driven decision-making and requires collaboration with clients, sales consultants, and various departments to enhance customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager is tasked with nurturing client relationships, analyzing account growth, coaching team members for strategic decision-making, generating revenue, and aligning long-term objectives with the company's vision and values. A successful candidate will have a proven history of personal sales achievements or managing substantial revenue budgets.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Manage staff scheduling to meet operational needs.
  • Assist in finalizing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Become proficient in Point of Rental, Salesforce, Vonage, and Power BI.
  • Provide guidance and solutions to the sales team for effective client decision-making.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop future leaders in the event industry.
  • Observe and coach sales practices to enhance workflow efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on client account evaluations.
  • Create workflows and reports using Salesforce and Vonage.
  • Support order entry and phone assistance as necessary.
  • Contribute to sales meetings and ongoing training presentations.
  • Work with senior management to formulate strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee training schedules for new hires and retraining initiatives.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with goal-setting and performance evaluations.
  • Engage with all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within the hotel, venue, or event sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in the event rental industry is advantageous.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Strong dedication to exceptional customer service.
  • Understanding of operations in high-volume environments and the integration of sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of event planning processes and the execution of successful events.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
