We are excited to announce an opportunity for New Home Sales Associates to become part of our dynamic sales team. We are looking for individuals with a positive mindset and a desire to master our business approach, ensuring consistent application of our methods. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills; all you need to do is take the first step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the sale, processing, and closing of homes in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, aiming to create satisfied and delighted customers.
  • Engage actively in community phone banks and events as part of the division's outreach efforts.
  • Follow the company's sales philosophy while assisting home-buying clients and real estate professionals, utilizing all available sales and organizational resources. This includes guiding clients through Welcome Home Centers, model homes, and available properties.
  • Maintain timely and consistent communication with clients from initial contact through to post-closing, ensuring all interactions are documented.
  • Travel within the local area to generate sales through realtor partnerships, referrals, and personal prospecting.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, including products, locations, community characteristics, marketing strategies, and demographics.
  • Track daily customer traffic using designated company tools and maintain accurate records.
  • Compile and submit regular reports on sales activities, cancellations, and customer interactions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations as required and assist clients with their builder option selections when applicable.
  • Engage in local promotional and marketing initiatives.
  • Review and prepare sales contracts for necessary approvals.
  • Ensure all contracts are entered into the appropriate reporting and accounting systems.
  • Keep records of daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities updated and submitted punctually.
  • Coordinate with the field team to ensure the upkeep of Welcome Home Centers and model homes.
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss neighborhood performance and sales strategies.
  • Assist in processing paperwork to ensure timely escrow closures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the home building sector.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with real estate regulations is essential.
  • Knowledge of construction, mortgage, finance, and escrow processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, resourcefulness, professionalism, and the ability to meet weekly targets with minimal supervision are crucial.
  • Maintain the Welcome Home Center during operational hours.
  • Ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and external real estate agents and brokers.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors diligently.
  • Understand and adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • Commitment to personal development in sales and online skills is expected.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong social media skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to accept constructive feedback.
  • A collaborative team player with a robust work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily active, involving office and phone work, as well as walking in various weather conditions to visit homesites within the community. A valid state driver's license is required for transporting clients and attending meetings. Finger dexterity is necessary for operating computer equipment and telephones. The ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds is essential.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Sunday with two rotating days off.
