The Role in Brief:
Strategic Partner Engagement Specialist


The Partner Development team creates innovative sales and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities for EAB and EAB Seramount, a strategic division focused on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

A vital member of the team, the Strategic Partner Engagement Specialist (SPES) is tasked with initiating relationships with potential partners and optimizing team interactions.

SPES professionals identify executives who may benefit from EAB or EAB Seramount offerings, utilize resources to connect with qualified leads, and arrange meetings for Partner Development Executives (PDEs) to further cultivate these prospective relationships.

In this role, you will gain profound insights into the education sector and workplace DE&I best practices while enhancing your outreach skills.

Assignment to EAB or EAB Seramount is primarily based on business requirements, and candidates should express their interest in higher education and/or DE&I.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate sales meetings for PDEs with prospective partners, aiming to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives.
  • Utilize all available resources, including Salesforce, external sources, and predictive modeling tools, to strategically identify and engage qualified executives and organizations.
  • Communicate with current and prospective partners through various channels.
  • Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to support new business acquisition goals.
  • Follow up with inbound leads within designated timeframes.
  • Maintain and update prospect records in Salesforce, ensuring relevant research and scheduling information is current.
  • Participate in regular training and coaching sessions to refine demand generation skills.
  • Engage in team meetings and territory strategy sessions.
  • Familiarize yourself with EAB and EAB Seramount product content and research.
  • Complete additional product-specific tasks as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Must possess at least three of the following:
  • Experience in sales or fundraising.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in an office setting.
  • Leadership experience.

Ideal Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quantitative goals.
  • Effective communication and persuasion skills with executives.
  • Exhibits poise, maturity, and resilience in interactions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $42,000 - $46,000 per year. Actual salary may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.

This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses or incentive compensation, which may depend on individual and organizational performance.
