Department Overview

The Enterprise Business Processes division is a newly established team composed of diverse professionals with extensive experience across various sectors. We utilize analytical thinking to design and implement a new SAP solution aimed at modernizing our comprehensive processes spanning Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Our dedicated team collaborates closely with IT and other departments to grasp both current and future business requirements. We apply innovative strategies to create and execute high-quality process and technology solutions that align with our overarching strategic goals.

Position Summary

The Orchestration Planner will play a pivotal role in ensuring the dependable and systematic production of our operational reviews. This includes meticulously orchestrating sessions and events such as executive meetings, workshops, demonstrations, conferences, and training sessions. Additionally, this individual will engage in PMO activities, projects, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement. As a core team member, the ideal candidate should embody a positive workplace ethos and excel in fostering team cohesion. This role requires close collaboration with solution teams, IT personnel, and partners in a dynamic environment to achieve program objectives, necessitating a proactive, analytical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.

Salary Information: PG&E provides a salary range that reflects the company's good faith estimate for this position at the time of posting. This range is specific to the job's locality. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including skills, education, certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. While we anticipate that the successful candidate will be positioned around the midpoint of the range, final decisions will be made on an individual basis.

Estimated Salary Range:

Bay Area Minimum: $102,000

Bay Area Maximum: $162,000

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production of quality DORs, WORs, and MORs.
  • Maintain the program's time architecture.
  • Manage the program calendar and communication channels.
  • Coordinate workspace management, including special projects.
  • Administer collaboration tools effectively.
  • Maintain team rosters, organizational charts, and distribution lists.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Facilitate sessions and events.
  • Participate in budget analysis and variance tasks.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing reports, presentations, and analytics for business insights.
  • Work primarily in an office setting with frequent use of personal computers, mobile devices, A/V equipment, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Travel may be required.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with PG&E's Clear Sky Playbook and Gap International Breakthrough.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to communicate progress, escalate issues, and manage timelines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with experience in managing event logistics and maintaining run-of-show documents.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Possess a high-energy, resourceful, and solution-oriented attitude.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Program Management principles.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with Visio, JIRA, Power Apps, Confluence, and Planisware.
