Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium-sized projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with PMO leadership to enhance resource allocation.
  • Establish budgets and staffing requirements for business initiatives.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project methodologies and financial analysis.
  • Provide mentorship to Project Management Associates (PMAs) and Business Analysts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, particularly in staffing or resource management.
  • Expertise in Project Development Management (PDM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPMC) tools.
  • Strong skills in estimating, scope, and risk management.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) reviews and inspections.
  • Possession of PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Electric Generation Interconnection and New Business connections.
  • Knowledge of website/portal application intake processes.
  • Experience in Electric Operations within a Utility context.
  • Proficiency in Asset Work Management, including Distribution Poles, Transmission Towers, and Substations.
  • Experience with SAP PM, SAP EAM, and GIS systems.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a hybrid work model, with remote work complemented by monthly onsite meetings as required.
