Position Overview
  • GTT, LLC is in search of a dynamic and skilled IT Program Coordinator for the Supplier Engagement Office (SEO) team.
  • The IT Program Coordinator will oversee and direct various IT project teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding presentation skills, project management expertise, and the capability to communicate intricate business challenges and solutions to senior management and executive teams.

Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight:
  • Lead and coordinate multiple IT initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource distribution, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project milestones, conduct meetings, document meeting outcomes, and follow up on action items.
Communication and Presentation:
  • Design high-quality presentations to convey complex business issues, project updates, and solutions to senior management and executive teams.
  • Effectively relay project progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Lead meetings and presentations, ensuring clear and effective communication of information.
Financial Oversight:
  • Formulate and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Track and report on project financial performance, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Ensure project expenditures align with overall program objectives and financial goals.
Vendor Relations:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Vendor Management strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain a centralized vendor database, encompassing contracts, performance metrics, and contact information.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with vendors and external partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Lead a team that conducts regular vendor assessments to evaluate performance, develop vendor scorecards, identify improvement areas, and ensure ongoing alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with IT operations, sourcing, and legal teams to present a unified front to external vendors.
  • Provide leadership and support to the tactical Vendor Management team to ensure high performance and continuous enhancement.
  • Regularly review and update Vendor Management policies and procedures to reflect business changes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and performance enhancement through effective Vendor Management practices.
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
  • Inspire, mentor, and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Engage with various departments to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
  • Act as a primary contact for project-related inquiries and issue resolution.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT program/project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting compelling presentations for executive audiences.
  • Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in establishing Vendor Management Organizations (VMO).
  • Background in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
