Position Overview:

Oversees various elements of program execution and operational activities. Ensures the program functions efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities typically encompass the following in support of Program Management to achieve program metrics and objectives:

  • Formulating and tracking budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assessing, measuring, and reporting on the program's success.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to devise and implement strategies that meet targets in a timely manner.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust working relationships with all strategic programs and partners.
  • Cooperating with Regulatory and Compliance teams to guarantee adherence to all regulatory standards and assisting in regulatory activities by providing necessary information for filings and data requests.
  • Identifying stakeholders and facilitating communication within and outside the organization.
  • Developing and/or executing policies and procedures.
  • Exploring new partnerships, technologies, and delivery methods.
  • Managing vendor relationships and providing guidance to external partners.

Compensation Overview:

PG&E provides a salary range that reflects the company's good faith belief regarding potential compensation for this position at the time of posting. This range is specific to the job's locality. Actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. While the successful candidate is likely to be placed towards the midpoint or entry level of the range, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Salary Range:

  • Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area): $140,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (Bay Area): $189,000.00
  • Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area): $238,000.00
  • Minimum Base Salary (California): $133,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (California): $180,000.00
  • Maximum Base Salary (California): $226,000.00

Key Responsibilities:


• Recognized as a subject matter expert representing the organization in regulatory and industry discussions.


• May oversee significant cross-functional projects and initiatives.


• Provides coaching and mentorship to junior staff.


• Addresses unique and complex challenges, anticipating potential issues and crafting innovative solutions.


• Exhibits strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to align with company objectives.


• Guides the development of program goals and metrics to align with organizational aims, ensuring collaborative efforts across departments.


• Responsible for leveraging resources from various departments and teams to achieve program objectives.


• Organizes and leads cross-utility project teams to influence decisions impacting utilities, regulatory bodies, and industry standards.


• Provides substantial input to leadership and other utilities with similar programs, influencing market and regulatory strategies that affect the organization and its clientele.


• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI, capable of creating executive-level presentation materials.


• Acts as a conduit for information flow between departmental teams.


• Ensures that adequate resources are allocated to each project, program, or initiative.

Qualifications:

Minimum:


• 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:


• PMP Certification.


• Ability to leverage business insights to drive strategic decision-making and recommend operational enhancements.


• Capacity to lead large-scale, complex projects across various business lines.


• In-depth knowledge and expertise regarding business and industry drivers.


• Proven ability to manage extensive projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


• Skilled in formulating compelling business cases based on intricate business environments and inputs.
