Core Operations: Manager of Operations and Process Enhancement

We are in search of a dedicated and mission-oriented team member who is enthusiastic about enhancing mental health accessibility and is invigorated by the entrepreneurial challenges of crafting and strategizing operational workflows for a rapidly expanding Core Operations team.

As the Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to unlock and develop essential process improvements that will empower Almas claims processing teams to scale effectively during our next growth phase. You will leverage business insights and innovative thinking to instigate strategic transformations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Member Activation, you will assist in forecasting and analyzing team productivity at individual, team, and departmental levels to optimize our workforce allocation in alignment with departmental objectives, efficiency targets, and growth strategies.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Operations leadership to design and construct the roadmap and workflows that the Core Operations team will depend on to deliver high-quality, exceptional operations. Your role will involve regular interaction and relationship-building with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Customer Success, Business Intelligence, and Payer Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with all revenue cycle teams to identify operational challenges and trends, utilizing data and analytics to prioritize initiatives and design process modifications that support ongoing growth and scalability.
  • Develop innovative operational processes and policies in partnership with Operations Leadership while establishing appropriate reporting mechanisms to measure success against these new processes.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence, Customer Experience (CX) Strategy, and Product teams to enhance task management systems and assist Operations leaders with analyses for dynamic workforce allocation based on emerging needs.
  • Facilitate the research and implementation of new tools that will elevate Almas operations to the next level.

Who You Are:

  • You possess 3-4 years of experience in an Operations or analytics role within the startup, healthcare implementation, or healthcare consulting sectors.
  • You have a strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, or SQL.
  • You are resourceful and efficient in analyzing data and business trends, capable of producing high-quality reports and recommendations to support cross-functional initiatives and labor planning.
  • You exhibit exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and outstanding project management capabilities.
  • You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business outcomes, particularly with Business Intelligence, Data, or Product teams.
  • You are a collaborative team player who can actively contribute to the team while effectively managing multiple projects through prioritization.
  • You possess excellent communication skills that adapt to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Band: $100,000-$125,000

Almas compensation philosophy emphasizes equity, ensuring new hires are typically brought in near the midpoint of our salary bands, maintaining consistency across similar roles.
