Position Overview

Garibaldi Glass Industries Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to track and manage sales interactions and customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute annual sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our territories and customer base, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Conduct regular client visits to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate training sessions with customers and industry professionals to showcase our products and expertise.
  • Assist clients in specifying product requirements based on the latest industry knowledge.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, achieving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our customer base, anticipating buyer objections and developing strategies to overcome them.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge, staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.

Communication

  • Deliver training sessions to customers and industry professionals, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, providing feedback and insights on market conditions, competitor activity, and recent successes.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive attitude in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education.
  • 5-7 years of full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record of overachieving sales quotas.
  • Experience in creating strategies and managing outcomes, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Effective communication and business acumen, with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and advise on products, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be creative and provide solutions for win-win relationships.

Critical Success Factors

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
  • Identify and win new business from existing and new customers, through a consistent sales funnel.
  • Assist in the development of a marketing plan that supports the annual sales plan, with a focus on targeted marketing initiatives.

Working Conditions

This role will work primarily remotely, with occasional time spent in an office environment and client job sites. Travel may be required, with a focus on North America and local markets.

Compensation

Salary and commission plan will be based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.
