Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes and supporting our leadership team in developing and implementing people strategies that positively impact our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Outcomes: Drive regional business outcomes, including labor, turnover, and engagement, to optimize workforce performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop Leadership Capabilities: Improve leadership capabilities, including performance management, succession planning, and talent review, to ensure the development of high-performing teams.
  • Workforce Planning: Participate in workforce planning initiatives, including staffing, quality of hires, and workforce optimization, to ensure the right skills and capabilities are in place to achieve business objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment law, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety, and minimize risk in employee relations and workplace safety.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with Centers of Excellence to drive employee engagement, retention, and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8 years of related experience in operations or healthcare, with expertise in performance management, employment law, employee relations, staffing, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, data and analytical skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to drive business results.
