Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Talent Management Consultant to join our team at Ochsner LSU Health System. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our Talent Management (TM) programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Talent Management Programs: Develop and execute comprehensive talent management strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Consult with Stakeholders: Collaborate with TM team members, Human Resources Business Partners, Operational Leaders, and Administrative Stakeholders to advance talent strategy programs.
  • Facilitate Dynamic Programs: Design and deliver engaging programs, including new hire orientations, leader assimilations, workforce development trainings, and focus groups, to support TM initiatives.
  • Manage Onboarding Processes: Oversee all activities and tools related to new hire orientations and onboarding.
  • Conduct Talent Needs Assessments: Use a sound process to identify talent needs and develop assessments to measure program success.
  • Develop Program Effectiveness Measures: Create metrics to demonstrate return on investment outcomes, using proven approaches to measure knowledge retention, learning transfer, and performance.
  • Provide Coaching and Mentoring: Offer coaching, 360s, and mentoring to others as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Organization Development, Organizational Psychology, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 5 years of experience in adult training, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and/or organizational development, including supporting development programs and using adult learning approaches.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or SHRM-CP.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to develop well-rounded programs that support diverse learning styles and an inclusive workforce; problem-solving skills; strong technical aptitude; excellent instructional, program design, consultation, presentation, and strategic facilitation skills; and strong project management, time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
