Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an experienced AVP - HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes and supporting our regional leaders in developing and implementing people strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Regional Business Outcomes: Develop and implement strategies to improve labor, turnover, and engagement metrics.
  • Lead HR Business Partners: Manage a team of HR Business Partners to drive business solutions and improve leadership capabilities.
  • Workforce Planning: Participate in workforce planning initiatives, including staffing, quality of hires, and workforce optimization.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employee relations, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with Centers of Excellence to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8 years of related experience in operations or healthcare, with expertise in performance management, employment law, employee relations, and staffing workforce planning.
  • Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
Physical and Environmental Demands

This role requires light physical activity, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and frequent sitting. The incumbent will work in a healthcare setting with minimal risk of exposure to hazardous materials or communicable diseases.
