JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, back of house, and communal areas.

JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the hotel according to established standards.
  • Report any lost and found items to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete daily tasks.
  • Greet guests encountered in hallways, lobbies, or public spaces.
  • Adhere to protocols for entering and exiting guest rooms.
  • Return keys and communication devices to the Housekeeping Department at the end of the shift.
  • Follow proper procedures when filling cleaning solution containers; avoid mixing chemicals.
  • Work safely to prevent injuries to yourself, colleagues, and guests.
  • Keep storage areas, guest laundry, and corridors organized and clean.
  • Identify and report safety hazards to the Department Supervisor immediately.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Arrive on time in the appropriate uniform, ready to work.
  • Manage keys issued for performing assigned duties responsibly.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Handle all cleaning equipment and chemicals properly.
  • Support environmental initiatives by being knowledgeable and proactive in promoting sustainability in the hospitality industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Physical ability to move, reach, and navigate tight spaces; operate cleaning equipment; and lift loads of at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
