Job Summary

The Practice Management Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the firm's practice groups, working closely with attorneys and staff to ensure seamless operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and monitor financial reports for practice groups, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenue.
  • Coordinate and schedule attorney training and development programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Handle logistical responsibilities for practice group meetings, events, and retreats, including agenda creation, scheduling, and calendar management.
  • Maintain group intranet sites and repositories of relevant practice management information, ensuring easy access for all stakeholders.
  • Assist with lateral attorney recruiting projects, supporting the firm's growth and development.
  • Prepare and monitor practice group expense budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Support the morale and engagement of attorneys in the practice groups, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide assistance with the annual attorney evaluation process, working closely with the Attorney Resources team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with equivalent training and experience considered.
  • Minimum one year of increasingly responsible, directly related experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn and utilize technology tools and resources.
