Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with board members, developing relationships, and serving as a trusted point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review agendas, materials, and resolutions for board and committee meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10Q, 10K, 8K, and other required documents
  • Coordinate NYSE and NASDAQ filings and communication
  • Assist in the preparation and review of D&O questionnaires and equity award agreements
  • Coordinate annual shareholder meetings and proxy voting processes
  • Provide advice and support for Apollo's direct lending platform
  • Manage internal and external processes related to compliance with the firm's co-investment exemptive order and related board and governance matters
  • Perform general legal research and assist with entity formation and life cycle management
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting corporate legal and governance matters
  • Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Possesses professional integrity, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors, including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
