Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at MSC Industrial Direct. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with medium-sized manufacturing and non-manufacturing customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within these organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies and plans
- Utilize sales and prospecting techniques to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Develop and deliver compelling value-based proposals and presentations to customers
- Negotiate and close business deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sales
- Proven track record of success in sales and prospecting
- Strong knowledge of sales and prospecting techniques, including value-based sales methodologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
