Job Title: Credit Union Branch Manager

At Sparks Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to join our team. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced credit union environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the branch in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
  • Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of branch personnel, conduct performance reviews, allocate resources to meet operational needs, and review and approve department recommendations from subordinates.
  • Monitor all branch activities to ensure compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Underwrite consumer loans up to the assigned amount per Credit Union policy, review and approve underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
  • Monitor branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Maintain communications with the main office, prepare and submit standard reports, and attend scheduled management meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of progressive banking experience, including management experience.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Genuine attitude with a desire to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
  • Proficiency with Symitar highly preferred.
