Job Overview:

The Program Management Specialist will ensure high-quality installation and exceptional customer service while adhering to industry standards and completing assigned projects efficiently and within budget. This role involves coordinating all necessary aspects and resources for the installation and servicing of products across various customer projects. Effective communication with lead technicians, trim technicians, programmers, and the scheduling team is essential. Daily responsibilities will include organizing supplies and maintaining job documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate handoff meetings with the Sales team to guarantee that customer expectations are met.

Collaborate with the job superintendent to establish site regulations and ensure that AV requirements from other trades are fulfilled.

Communicate all billable change orders to the sales and engineering teams.

Review sales orders, product lists, and scopes of work before allocating resources.

Work with the Scheduling Coordinator to deploy resources effectively for project completion.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials.

Meet with subcontractors to clarify their roles within the project.

Oversee all aspects of onsite installation of AV systems.

Ensure adherence to project timelines and expectations.

Set up, configure, and program networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs.

Review and respond to daily updates in project documentation and work orders using job management software.

Maintain accurate time clock entries and job costing.

Make informed decisions and take accountability for Time and Materials.

Provide client training and facilitate the transition to the service department.

Conduct quality checks and uphold company standards.

Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Travel locally to job sites as necessary.

Deliver training or communication to share relevant information as needed.

Maintain fiscal responsibility for all assigned assets and property.

Exhibit excellent customer service skills, particularly when interacting with high-profile clients.

Safeguard client confidentiality and ensure network/home security.

Comply with state and federal laws, including traffic regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large projects successfully.
  • Commitment to ongoing education in systems such as audio, video, security, and lighting.
  • Ability to interpret house plans and other job-related documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of wiring and connectivity related to low voltage standards.
  • Essential troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with the capacity to master in-house job management software.
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding key component placement and system wiring.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to accommodate customer needs outside of standard working hours.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a clear criminal background.

Security license is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or stoop for extended periods.

Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
