Position Overview

Covestic is in search of a skilled Corporate AV Production Specialist to support the planning and execution of high-caliber internal corporate events.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our events are seamlessly coordinated, technically proficient, and provide an outstanding experience for all attendees.

This position is well-suited for individuals who are meticulous, exceptionally organized, and excel in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary audio engineer (A1) for a variety of internal corporate gatherings, including meetings, workshops, and presentations.

- Offer expertise in audio quality and mixing for hybrid and livestream events across multiple venues.

- Set up, operate, and maintain a wide range of live audio equipment, such as mixers, microphones, and digital/analog converters.

- Configure and deploy dedicated DSP processors (e.g., QSYS, Biamp).

- Assist with the setup and dismantling of mobile event equipment as required.

- Manage RF frequency coordination.

- Support other facets of live event production as needed.

- Regularly engage with senior stakeholders, including corporate executives, ensuring exceptional service and event experiences.

Qualifications for Success

- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a live event technician in a corporate setting, with a focus on audio.

- Proficient in the setup, operation, and maintenance of live audio equipment commonly used in corporate environments, including:

- Digital Mixers (e.g., Yamaha)

- Microphones

- Wireless Transmitters/Receivers

- PA systems, both installed and portable.

- Familiarity with common corporate audio scenarios and effective solutions, such as:

- Keynote addresses

- Panel discussions

- Board meetings

- Knowledge of best practices for stage management and presenter preparation as it relates to audio (e.g., microphone technique, coaching).

- Proficiency in DSP programming, with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., QSC Q-SYS, Tesira Biamp).

- Experience with Dante; Dante Certification Level 2 is preferred.

- Familiarity with basic RF coordination software and procedures (e.g., Shure Wireless Workbench).

- Understanding of live show communication best practices (intercom, run of show documentation, etc.).

- Working knowledge of hybrid meeting software (e.g., Zoom) and Google Apps for Business (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Groups).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work onsite as required.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Experience in working with external AV vendors and managing vendor relationships is advantageous.
