Strategic Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager at AssistRx cultivates and maintains relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturing partners. This role involves working with pharmaceutical executives to ensure they receive maximum value from iAssist's features and services. The Account Manager presents new ideas and innovations to clients, upselling and enhancing their products and services, and serves as a liaison between pharmaceutical brand teams and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a working knowledge of clients' business goals, technical challenges, and infrastructure configurations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain a role as advisor to clients and colleagues.
  • Present new ideas and innovations to clients to upsell and enhance their products and services.
  • Research high-level solutions for clients.
  • Develop relationships with clients through regular meetings and conference calls to review service quality and ensure they receive maximum benefit from iAssist's features and benefits.
  • Work with Client Services to solve complex support issues effectively.
  • Manage the delivery of recommended and agreed-upon services to achieve high client satisfaction and trust.
  • Determine the most effective method of problem resolution by utilizing internal resources when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales and service.
  • Participate in client quarterly reviews, attend annual Plan Of Action meetings, and travel as needed.
  • Plan milestones and track progress.
  • Effectively communicate information to all involved parties.
Requirements
  • Ability to express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form.
  • Exhibit good listening skills and comprehension.
  • Effectively communicate information to all involved parties.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in a customer support and/or sales capacity role.
  • Experience working for or in Pharma.
  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical Brand Teams is essential.
  • Project Management, HUB Operations, or Specialty Pharmacy Operations/Account Management is strongly desired.
  • Technical skills are a must.
