Job Title: National Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Innovative Outsourcing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with a major client.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, specifically with large, regional corporations in the food retail industry. Experience in the construction or refrigeration industries, or managing services that include equipment installation, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow a team of 3, with the potential to expand to 8, including project managers, coordinators, and field supervisors.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects in multiple states, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service for this large client.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Costco, at both local and regional levels, as well as with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Oversee all team activities, including estimating costs, preparing proposals, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Lead site visits and meet with clients to ensure high-quality service and project execution.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set and meet growth targets for the account, ensuring its successful expansion.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and communicate regular updates on ongoing projects to both the internal team and customers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account management experience, ideally in construction or a related service industry (e.g., refrigeration, equipment installation).
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with large corporate clients, preferably in the food retail sector.
  • Experience with construction timelines and processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Familiarity with project management software, with SmartSheets or MS Project experience being a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel (~20%, approximately 4 days a month).
