About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and sales performance at The Longfellow Hotel. This role involves prospecting, cultivating, and maintaining local and regional business relationships to secure corporate, group, and other non-leisure rooms sales. The Sales Manager will implement sales plans through direct sales solicitations, telephone inquiries, written communications, and community involvement. Additionally, this position will foster a culture of hospitality through the administration of exceptional customer service practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and identify potential sales leads
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales promotions and campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools
