Position Overview

Bloom Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, PLLC is a dedicated provider of behavioral therapy, focusing on a naturalistic and engaging approach to foster development and learning in children. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to helping children thrive according to their unique needs and characteristics. We are currently looking for part-time Child Behavior Support Specialists to join our dynamic team.

Client Needs:

Client #1:

  • 6-9 hours/week required
  • Available W-TH-Fri between 4-7pm

Client #2:

  • 6-9 hours/week required
  • Available 4-7 pm on any weeknight and weekends

Client #3:

  • 10-15 hours/week required
  • Available 3-8pm on any weeknight

Clients #4 & #5 (siblings):

  • 6-9 hours/week required
  • Available T-W-F between 3-7:30pm

  • Works effectively with fellow Behavior Technicians, Supervisors, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Execute skill-building and behavior modification strategies as directed by the Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Encourage and assist clients in enhancing their social, communication, play, and daily living skills.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
  • Apply evidence-based behavioral techniques to foster positive behavior changes.
  • Document daily data and observations regarding progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in psychology, special education, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience working with children and/or individuals on the autism spectrum is highly valued.
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical capability to engage with active children, including lifting and sitting on the floor.
  • Submission of Resume and References is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly pay: $20-$30/hour based on experience and educational background.
