Behavioral Support Coordinator / Social Services Professional

Location: Liberty ARC is dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities.
FLSA: Non-exempt
Reports To: Senior Behavioral Support Coordinator
Physical requirements: Proficiency in SCIP RR techniques is essential. Standard Office Environment.
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with a flexible schedule. Full-time position of 37.5 hours. Some travel may be necessary.
Compensation Range: The compensation range is $24.70 to $35.28 per hour.

Position Overview: Deliver psychological and behavioral interventions to individuals with disabilities. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. Maintain documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  1. A Master's Degree in psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology is mandatory. National board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a New York State license in mental health counseling is preferred.
  2. A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or specialized training in the field is required.
  3. A valid New York State driver's license is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver psychological and behavioral services to individuals in various programs, ensuring compliance with departmental and agency policies, as well as state, local, and federal regulations.
  2. Document and maintain individual behavioral records in accordance with all departmental and agency policies and procedures.
  3. Provide training to agency staff, including at home and work environments.
  4. Engage in team meetings and assessments as part of the individual's comprehensive care plan.
  5. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including Human Rights Committee reviews, plan modifications, and programmatic compliance.
  6. Review Behavior Support Plans and monitoring strategies to ensure compliance.
  7. Participate in additional caseload coverage as assigned.
  8. Pursue ongoing personal and professional development and attend required agency training sessions.
  9. Ensure that communication is appropriate, accurate, and timely.
