The Account Director, Sponsorships is crucial in formulating and executing comprehensive media strategies aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of sponsorships and advertising campaigns for our podcasts. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Studio Operations and the Vice President of Revenue to ensure the seamless integration of brand messaging and optimal audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Media Strategy Formulation: Partner with the Executive Director of Sponsorships to create strategic media plans that align with client goals and target audience demographics.
  2. Campaign Implementation: Execute media plans across various channels, including audio, digital, and social media platforms, ensuring timely and precise delivery of advertising materials.
  3. Audience Insights: Leverage audience analytics to identify trends, refine targeting strategies, and provide recommendations for enhancing campaign performance.
  4. Financial Oversight: Track campaign budgets and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to optimize return on investment and meet financial objectives.
  5. Client Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients regarding media planning and campaign execution, offering regular updates, insights, and recommendations to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  6. Collaborative Efforts: Work in tandem with internal teams, including Content Production, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and integration of media strategies with overall business goals.
  7. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform media planning strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in media planning, preferably within the advertising or media sector.
  3. Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective media plans across multiple channels.
  4. Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  6. Detail-oriented with robust organizational and project management skills.
  7. Proficiency in media planning tools and software (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, Google Analytics).
  8. Familiarity with podcasting industry trends and platforms is advantageous.

Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
