Position Overview
Regional Sales Executive
General Kinematics stands as the Leading Manufacturer of Vibrating Process Equipment for bulk material handling solutions. Our offerings range from Vibratory Feeders to comprehensive Process Systems, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions for challenging materials.
We are in search of a dedicated Regional Sales Executive to enhance our team, focusing on driving sales, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to product innovation within the designated territory. Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external clients is crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted sales objectives for both new machinery and aftermarket components within the assigned territory.
- Guide sales initiatives through the complete sales process; identifying potential clients, showcasing company offerings, crafting tailored solutions, and preparing proposals leading to contract negotiations and closures.
- Engage in extensive travel throughout the assigned region.
- Collaborate proactively with GK Industry Directors and Component Sales Managers, alongside GK Engineering and other departments, to furnish clients with competitive and precise proposals.
- Work with external manufacturer representatives to serve as the primary contact for qualifying leads and cultivating a robust pipeline of prospects and clients.
- Identify potential GK solutions/equipment and aftermarket sales opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive product specifications to ensure the overall design integrity of GK offerings.
- Continuously assess market acceptance of the company's products regarding quality, pricing, performance, and applicability. Compile reports with insights and recommendations.
- Conduct sales presentations and participate in industry-specific trade exhibitions as necessary.
- Oversee and collaborate with team members to enhance the Sales Department's overall functionality.
- Maintain regular communication with the Regional Sales Manager and submit a quarterly strategic plan for the region.
- Fully support the Company's ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the GK SCOPE program.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with Vibratory Equipment and a focus on Process Equipment is advantageous.
• Previous experience in corporate/key account management is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics; working knowledge of CAD is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
