The Senior Large Loss Project Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the company's efforts in addressing significant commercial losses. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership Development:
    1. Recruit, mentor, and retain a skilled team of National Project Managers.
    2. Facilitate professional growth and development opportunities for team members.
  • Operational Management:
    1. Enhance operational efficiency by ensuring adequate resources, including personnel, equipment, and vendor partnerships.
    2. Oversee the creation and application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain project consistency and quality.
  • Resource Coordination:
    1. Guarantee that each Kustom location is prepared and equipped to manage the initial response to large loss mitigation projects.
    2. Strategically allocate resources, including equipment and personnel, across various regions.
  • Relationship Management:
    1. Forge and nurture relationships with clients, adjusters, and industry professionals.
    2. Represent Kustom at industry-related events and conferences.
  • Administrative Collaboration:
    1. Partner with the administrative team on invoicing, job cost analysis, and ensuring project profitability.
  • Project Oversight:
    1. Direct the operational management of large loss mitigation projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring a smooth handover to the reconstruction team.
    2. Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and budgetary constraints.
  • Equipment and Logistics Management:
    1. Coordinate with the asset management team to ensure availability of equipment and materials.
    2. Conduct regular assessments of equipment maintenance and functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    1. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive ongoing process enhancements.
    2. Implement feedback mechanisms to improve processes, response times, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in team management, ideally within the restoration or a related sector.
  • Proven track record in managing successful large loss commercial projects.
  • Strong strategic and operational capacity management skills.
  • Exceptional relationship management and financial insight.
  • Familiarity with equipment and logistics oversight.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Excellent communication skills with flexibility for travel related to large loss incidents.
