Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee our Service Department's operations. This role is critical in ensuring that mechanical projects are executed efficiently, meeting both budgetary and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and submit project bids and quotations.
  • Engage with clients to discuss project specifications and requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates for design-build and traditional projects.
  • Manage project contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
  • Define the complete scope of work for each project.
  • Track project budgets and labor expenditures.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules with key milestones.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on project change orders.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of plans and construction documents.
  • Prepare billing documentation and coordinate with finance teams.
  • Regularly review project progress with management.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee project execution.
  • Facilitate communication with general contractors and project owners.
  • Propose improvements based on project needs and available resources.
  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols on job sites.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical or HVAC project management. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in the following software is essential:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Bluebeam Revu for PDF editing
  • Experience with COINs is advantageous.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills for business applications.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Commitment to compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Language Proficiency:

Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular sitting, walking, and the use of office equipment. The role involves commuting between office and job sites, necessitating mobility and navigation skills.

Work Environment:
