Project Manager - HVAC Services

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee our HVAC service projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently, adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines while meeting the expectations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and submit project bids and quotations.
  • Engage with clients to discuss and assess HVAC installation and retrofit projects.
  • Prepare cost estimates for design-build and specification-based projects.
  • Manage and enforce project contract terms.
  • Define comprehensive scopes of work for each project.
  • Track project budgets and labor expenditures.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules with critical deadlines.
  • Evaluate and recommend actions on project change orders.
  • Provide estimates for change orders as necessary.
  • Review plans and construction documents to ensure project compliance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare billing documentation and collaborate with accounting teams.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with management.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits as required to monitor project progress.
  • Coordinate communications with general contractors and project owners.
  • Propose improvements based on project requirements and resource availability.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in and lead project meetings as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in mechanical or HVAC project management and demonstrate the ability to fulfill all essential duties effectively.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel and Word.
  • Bluebeam Revu for PDF editing.
  • Experience with COINs is advantageous.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills for business applications.
