Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee our Service Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of commercial mechanical projects across various locations, focusing on timely completion, budget adherence, and resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present bids and project estimates.
  • Engage with clients to discuss installation and retrofit projects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for design-build and specification-based projects.
  • Administer and manage project contracts effectively.
  • Ensure a comprehensive scope of work is established.
  • Track project budgets and labor expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with key milestones.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on project change orders.
  • Conduct analysis of plans and construction documents to identify project requirements and opportunities for optimization.
  • Prepare billing documentation and collaborate with accounting teams.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with management.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Visit job sites as necessary to oversee project progress.
  • Manage communications with general contractors and project owners.
  • Propose methods and improvements based on project needs.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical or HVAC project management. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in the following software is essential:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Bluebeam Revu for PDF editing
  • Experience with COINs is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular sitting, walking, and the use of office equipment. The candidate must be able to navigate construction sites and perform essential job functions in various environments.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes both office settings and construction sites, requiring adaptability to different conditions.
