POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the daily activities on the production floor, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, and effectively. This position involves leading a team of production staff, coordinating production timelines, overseeing workflow, and upholding quality standards. The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is vital in driving productivity, adhering to deadlines, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhancing operational efficiency by guiding, inspiring, and supporting team members during their shifts.
- Monitoring and assessing the effective allocation of labor, materials, and time to fulfill production timelines.
- Conducting employee evaluations through performance assessments, continuous coaching, and feedback mechanisms.
- Tracking production metrics to ensure peak performance from all team members.
- Planning and coordinating necessary repairs in the event of equipment malfunctions.
- Diagnosing issues to identify corrective measures for product or equipment discrepancies.
- Encouraging team members to maintain excellent housekeeping practices.
- Managing employee schedules and time records within the payroll system.
- Leading and participating in safety initiatives, including accident investigations during assigned shifts.
- Assisting in the training of operators.
- Upholding safe working practices at all times.
- Entering and verifying production data in the ERP system.
- Engaging in and leading continuous improvement efforts related to the assigned shift.
- Assisting with monthly physical inventory as necessary.
- Adhering to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Performing additional duties as required.
This position is not eligible for remote work.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with three to five years of relevant experience and/or training.
