About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Sales Executive to join our team at Verizon Connect. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in the government sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales goals and targets in the government sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions and support to government clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, government regulations, and market developments to ensure Verizon Connect's solutions meet the evolving needs of government clients.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Verizon Connect's solutions and services, as well as the competitive landscape, to effectively communicate value to government clients.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant sales experience in the government sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, contracts, and pricing.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with government agencies and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience working with sales tools and technologies.
