Compensation Range: $20-22 per hour

Compensation will vary based on geographic location, educational background, and experience.

Role Responsibilities

The Client Support Specialist will undertake patient care activities as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor. Responsibilities include orienting and assessing new clients, providing direct support and resources to both clients and clinical staff, and assisting in various areas as directed.

  • Engage actively in Multidisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
  • Complete necessary assessments and screenings as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical and utilization review teams.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Share relevant information with the team from clients' families or other sources as needed.
  • Conduct group sessions as required and directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Assist in gathering information related to the utilization review process and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Provide holiday and on-call/weekend coverage as required.
  • Recognize and respond to psychiatric crises, providing necessary interventions.
  • Assist in medical emergencies as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the interdisciplinary team regarding client needs.
  • Support chart documentation and compliance efforts.
  • Adhere to all program policies and procedures, ensuring client safety at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least an Associate's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related health field; CADC or CADC intern qualifications preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a chemical dependency or psychiatric setting.
  • CEU certifications and ongoing training in a health-related field.
  • Familiarity with the principles and practices of the discipline.
  • Understanding of Joint Commission Standards.
