As a Senior Customer Service Representative at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your exceptional communication skills, product knowledge, and negotiation abilities to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to complex customer inquiries and providing quotes for products and services;
  • Placing customer orders via various channels, including phone, email, and walk-in sales;
  • Influencing gross profit through price negotiations and adjusting non-contract customer pricing as needed;
  • Building strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and process improvements;
  • Managing inventory levels and expediting backorders to ensure timely delivery;
  • Providing coaching and guidance to less experienced team members;
  • Maintaining accurate records and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to multi-task;
  • Reliability, organization, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
