Job Summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Grant Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management of grants and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses, reviews, and audits of assigned programs, processes, or accounting functions to identify and correct errors or unrecorded transactions.
  • Grant Management: Coordinate and prepare for external audits, develop audit schedules, and serve as a liaison between internal customers and external auditors.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Gather and compile data from various sources to produce and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Accounting Support: Provide advanced support in accounting areas such as budget preparation, grant management, budget proposals, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, as long as they meet any necessary state or federal certification requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of functional accounting experience in areas such as grant accounting, payroll, or budgeting, depending on the role.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with healthcare experience strongly preferred.
