Job Overview

Position Title: Leasing and Customer Service Specialist

Reports to: Community Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly

Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time

Experience Required: A background in sales or customer service is essential, with a preference for experience in property management. Proficiency in email, internet applications, and social media platforms is necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a college degree is advantageous.

  2. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  3. Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  4. Exceptional customer service and marketing acumen.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Comply with the company's Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures as outlined in the Operations Manuals.
  2. Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  3. Follow up with potential clients and document all interactions in the designated system.
  4. Welcome clients in a professional manner.
  5. Conduct tours of office suites and promote the community's offerings.
  6. Oversee the leasing process from initial contact to the client's move-in.
  7. Inspect suites prior to client occupancy to ensure compliance with company standards.
  8. Prepare and finalize all necessary leasing documentation.
  9. Coordinate the acquisition of keys and access devices prior to client move-in.
  10. Address client inquiries and resolve issues, including submitting service requests.
  11. Complete all recommended training sessions and company-required courses.
  12. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the community and its competitive landscape.
  13. Stay informed about local market trends, including nearby businesses and developments.
  14. Conduct regular market surveys.
  15. Assist in organizing community events and activities.
  16. Report directly to the Community Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
  2. Engage in various physical activities, including bending, climbing stairs, and lifting.

Vision and Communication Requirements:

  1. Constant need to read and interpret reports and correspondence.
  2. Frequent need to communicate verbally and in writing with staff and clients.

Driving Requirements:

Occasional use of personal transportation may be necessary for inspections.

Work Environment:

  1. Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks.
  2. Exposure to various environmental conditions may occur.
