YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Customer Support Specialist, you will be integral in managing order processing and ensuring seamless communication between our internal teams and external clients. Your role will involve engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently. The typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, with evening shifts.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review records and communicate shipping timelines, potential delays, and necessary information to customers.
- Respond promptly to customer emails and inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure follow-up.
- Input orders into an automated system accurately.
- Organize, verify, and maintain records for accuracy and compliance.
- Foster an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with various departments and carrier representatives to expedite or trace shipments, compiling relevant statistics and reports.
- Assist in the registration of drivers with the appropriate documentation.
- Collect and analyze data to ensure comprehensive and precise information.
- Generate and distribute reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support to other departments as necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with AS400 or any Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong analytical skills to produce accurate reports.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
