Role Summary

The Global Vehicle Merchandising Manager plays a pivotal role in understanding consumer preferences and optimizing the display, organization, and marketing of our vehicles. This position is crucial in delivering a seamless and exceptional shopping experience that aligns with customer expectations throughout their purchasing journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse agency team to develop and execute effective strategies, tactics, and creative solutions.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on consumer shopping behaviors and preferences, gaining insights into current trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, UX, Software Engineering, and Finance, to translate business objectives and user needs into actionable strategies.
  • Analyze web analytics and behavioral data to derive insights that drive sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, establishing goals and KPIs.
  • Identify challenges and dependencies related to proposed actions and formulate solutions.
  • Conduct user research and testing to validate and refine merchandising strategies.
  • Implement comprehensive merchandising strategies, including brand positioning, content management, search optimization, and customer navigation enhancements.
  • Communicate new capabilities and strategies to stakeholders, supported by data-driven insights.
  • Influence cross-functional teams regarding pricing, promotional strategies, and product catalog enhancements through data-backed recommendations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on understanding and problem-solving.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital merchandising or customer experience design, with knowledge of website development and analytics.
  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising strategies, including brand and content strategy, search optimization, and customer navigation.
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Suite products, including AEM and Analytics.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a direct or matrix environment, preferably with creative or analytical teams.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or retail merchandising.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with SEO strategies and trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agency relationships.
