Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with planners and merchants to drive strategic forecasts and inventory strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Assist in plan evaluations, reforecasting, and retrospective analyses in conjunction with the Merchandising team.
  • Examine department-level metrics, provide insights to teams, and lead cross-functional initiatives within the Women's category.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance product assortment, boost sales, and mitigate inventory risks utilizing market intelligence.
  • Oversee product life cycles and conduct regular discussions to evaluate business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Address challenges and proactively seek solutions while mentoring and developing team members to meet performance targets.
  • Promote continuous enhancement by implementing effective best practices and processes to support organizational goals.
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Essential Skills and Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in planning or forecasting positions
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and the ability to articulate ideas with confidence
  • Proficiency in analytical reasoning, forecasting techniques, and effective team leadership
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability in prioritizing tasks
  • Strategic mindset aimed at driving process enhancements and refining best practices
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and Planning software
