Role Summary

The Global Vehicle Merchandising Manager plays a pivotal role in understanding customer preferences and optimizing how our vehicles are showcased. This position is essential for ensuring a seamless and exceptional shopping experience that aligns with customer expectations throughout their purchasing journey. You will collaborate with various teams, including Business Partners, Software Product Managers, and Analytics, while leading an agency team to implement effective merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse agency team to develop and execute strategies, tactics, and creative initiatives.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on vehicle shopping behaviors and customer insights, staying informed on trends, competitive actions, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, UX, Software Engineering, Finance, etc.) to translate business objectives and user needs into actionable strategies.
  • Utilize web analytics and behavioral data to derive insights that enhance sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and assess challenges, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct user research and testing to validate and refine merchandising tactics.
  • Implement comprehensive merchandising strategies, including brand and content strategies, navigation, product categorization, and promotional campaigns.
  • Communicate new capabilities and strategies to stakeholders, supported by data and insights.
  • Influence cross-functional teams regarding pricing, product catalog enhancements, and advertising strategies through data-driven recommendations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on understanding and collective problem-solving.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in digital merchandising or experience with website development and customer experience design.
  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising strategies, including brand and content strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Suite products, including AEM and Analytics.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a direct or matrix environment.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or retail merchandising.
  • Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with SEO strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record of delivering results under challenging circumstances.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing agency relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
