Compensation Administration Lead

Camber Corporation, a prominent entity in the Real Estate sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bi-weekly payroll processing for over 500 employees across various properties.
- Generate and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, including gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accruals, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.
- Oversee employment verifications, unemployment claims, and garnishments.
- Assist with audits, 401k administration, and workers' compensation reporting, including data collection and analysis for special requests.
- Conduct audits for new hires, rehires, and employee changes, and process terminations along with final payments.
- Prepare necessary payroll journal entries and ensure payroll reconciliation.
- Stay updated on payroll systems to align with HR benefits and ensure robust accounting support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal wage and hour regulations for multi-state payroll operations.
- Coordinate the integration and establishment of new pay groups for acquired entities.
- Process tips, commissions, and bonus payments efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a multi-state employer organization.
- Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously while adhering to established procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with employees at all levels.
