Position Overview:

Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), a leading organization in autism services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled masters-level ABA professional to take on the role of Lead Behavioral Intervention Specialist. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned individual eager to enhance their assessment capabilities while progressing towards BCBA certification.

With over two decades of experience, Autism Spectrum Therapies has been at the forefront of providing evidence-based, modern ABA therapy aimed at assisting individuals with autism in achieving their goals. Our mission is to empower clients to develop essential skills for a joyful and fulfilling life. As a Lead Behavioral Intervention Specialist at AST, you will benefit from the guidance of experienced clinical leaders and become part of LEARN Behavioral, a network of ABA providers committed to delivering integrated care across the nation. LEARN employs a robust team of over 500 BCBAs and operates in 18 states, with an average tenure of 10 years among our clinical leaders.

This position will primarily serve the Norwalk region and its neighboring areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Accumulate indirect supervision hours towards BCBA certification
  • Manage a team of approximately five interventionists and oversee client caseloads
  • Design client objectives and clinical programs
  • Facilitate parent training and educational initiatives
  • Compose progress reports and conduct regular team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • At least one year of experience working with children on the autism spectrum
  • Eligible for BCBA certification or in the process of accruing hours
  • Extensive background in applied behavioral analysis
  • Proven proficiency in all facets of the Behavior Interventionist role
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BCaBA certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply

Compensation:
$33.00 per hour
Additional salary range for administrative tasks or travel time is $17.28 to $27.50.
