Job Summary

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies within an assigned territory, building strong relationships with customers and strategic contacts, and driving growth and revenue for the company. This is a home-based position, and the successful candidate will be required to reside in the Denver, Colorado metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute direct sales responsibility for the targeted region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic contacts.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager on sales plans, strategy, and market analysis.
  • Execute sales strategies, initiatives, and marketing plans within the region.
  • Sell all company services within the region.
  • Focus on sales prospecting efforts within the region.
  • Work to achieve and exceed overall sales goals and sales activity standards.
  • Collect insights on competition, clients, prospective clients, and industry trends.
  • Work to achieve regional growth goals.
  • Manage expenses to meet budget requirements.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute client entertainment events/activities.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education required. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, insurance industry experience a plus but not required.
  • The Regional Account Manager must be sales oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of industry leaders and market dynamics.
  • Flexible and adapts well to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to multi-task and work with the pressures of deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Willing to take initiative, ownership, and risk.
  • Must be able to work efficiently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work well with colleagues, peers, and staff.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned region.
  • Strong computer skills. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics Database)
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clear driving record that meets company standards.
