About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Pushpay. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting work streams and deliverables, with a focus on month-end process, accounting journals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor bank balances and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all bank transactions.
  • Manage month-end process across the Group, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Support travel and staff expenses accounting processes.
  • Manage fixed assets, intangible assets, prepayment, and lease schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports as required.
  • Provide assistance and support to billing, payables, and payroll team members as needed.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Document and monitor internal controls.
  • Work on complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance teams or with other departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Intermediate experience with enterprise accounting systems like NetSuite.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets and G-Suite applications.
  • Tech-savvy and experienced in multiple accounting and financial apps and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
  • Ability to work closely with other accounting & FP&A team members and cost center leaders.
