We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Alnylam. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in promoting our products and services to healthcare professionals and organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory-level business plans to drive sales growth and market development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, patient services, and market access teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plans.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, in-services, and other educational programs to healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and market development.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 60% of time).
