Role Summary
This position focuses on overseeing the tasks related to the installation of submarine cable systems. Key responsibilities include the engineering and execution of deep-sea installations, vessel loading, route clearance operations, and post-lay inspection and burial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the engineering and execution of deep-sea installations.
- Collaborate as part of a team on submarine cable system installation activities.
- Support the supervising engineer with vessel loading tasks.
- Develop methods of procedure for installation and loading operations.
- Engage with customers and provide necessary internal and external training support.
- Coordinate with various Marine Services functional engineering groups, Project Management, R&D, and external contractors.

Qualifications
This role requires comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of shore end installations, deep-sea installations, vessel loading, route clearance operations, and post-lay inspection and burial operations. The position involves substantial domestic and international travel, including extended assignments at shore end landing sites or aboard cable-laying vessels. Basic engineering, mathematical, and computer skills are advantageous.

Additional Skills
- Proficiency in charting and mapping.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, technical writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A BA/BS in Engineering is preferred.
