Position Summary
This role involves overseeing activities related to the installation of submarine cable systems. Responsibilities encompass the engineering and execution of deep-sea installations, vessel loading, route clearance operations, and post-lay inspection and burial tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on engineering and execution of deep-sea installations.
- Participate as a team member in submarine cable system installation activities.
- Assist the supervising engineer with vessel loading.
- Develop methods of procedure for installation and loading tasks.
- Interface with clients and provide internal and external training support as needed.
- Collaborate with all Marine Services functional engineering groups, Project Management, R&D, and external contractors.

Qualifications
This position necessitates comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of shore end installations, deep-sea installations, vessel loading, route clearance operations, and post-lay inspection and burial operations. Candidates should be prepared for substantial domestic and international travel, including extended assignments at shore end landing sites or on cable-laying vessels. Basic engineering, mathematical, and computer skills are preferred.

Skills Required
- Proficiency in charting and mapping.
- Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A BA/BS in Engineering is preferred.
