Position Summary

The Clinical Front Office Coordinator is responsible for a blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities within our practice. This role includes managing patient flow in and out of the clinic, ensuring timely communication regarding provider schedules, and maintaining patient records. The Coordinator will greet patients, activate their files, and handle daily office operations, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, registering patients, and processing payments.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage patient flow in and out of examination rooms, assist in coordinating provider schedules, and communicate any delays effectively.
  2. Prepare for patient visits by reviewing historical medical records and relevant lab, imaging, and test results. Perform data entry to maintain accurate patient records in clinic databases.
  3. Schedule follow-up appointments and procedures according to established guidelines.
  4. Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes, including co-pay collection, registration, and gathering demographic information.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Education in medical assisting or a related field, either completed or in progress, is highly preferred.
  2. Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred.
  3. Previous healthcare experience is required.
